Selling from my personal collection of drums is this lovely Ludwig Custom Shop 5 x 14 Bird's Eye Maple snare. This is one of the very best snares Ludwig has ever made! The closest catalog number would be LS401 (Classic Maple Exotic). This was a very limited custom production run in 2014 (less than 50 made) using Ludwig Millennium parts. It was produced in the Ludwig Monroe, NC shop and is a completely USA-made instrument. A few of this drum's features are: 
- 7 ply cross laminated maple shell, RFST molding (radio frequency shell technology)
- 45 degeree bearing edges
- Bird's-eye maple veneer (looks fabulous) 
- cast brass Ludwig badge
- P33 butt plate (Upgraded Ludwig set screws) 
- Ludwig O rings
- Ludwig custom engraved Millenium strainer (Upgraded Ludwig set screws) 
- Ludwig die cast hoops top and bottom
- Ludwig tone control
- 10 Ludwig tube lugs, also with upgraded Ludwig lug washers (best tension rod alignment) 
- Pure sound 20 strand snare wires 
- Remo heads top and bottom are both new.

This snare has been used by me in both my studio and on live gigs. It plays and sounds fantastic. You can tune her high or low and the audio projection is wonderful. No issues and ready to gig!
