Hi, Thank you for looking at my long suffering Gibson LP, comes with Gibson Hard case.

I bought this guitar in the 1990s from a friend. I know nothing about it before then. This guitar has followed me in tours over Europe and the UK and as such the cosmetics pictures show this. So yes a few dings but some cracking on the finish on the front and notably some black dye staining on the finish front and back from my touring days wearing black outfits for shows. So I will describe the cosmetics as showing it has been well gigged on tour and in the studio. It does not have the original pick ups which I ditched to give me the sound I was looking for . There are two Seymour Duncans on this guitar. At the neck the Billy Gibbons and at the Bridge - The Seymour Duncan DC-J is a vintage humbucker, with "DC" standing for Duncan Custom (SH-5/TB-5) and the "J" indicating it was custom-wound by Seymour Duncan's master winder, Maricela “MJ” Juarez. Primarily found in guitars from the early-to-mid 1980s, it is known for high-output, crisp, aggressive tones. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Playability and sound wise this guitar I consider to be awesome.

So if you are looking for a great sounding LP that has been well played in, an age to it and has some real music industry history behind it, this is for you. ISo you may ask why I am selling it? TBH with regret. However, I am now at an age where touring is no longer my wish and I want to do local gigging only. So I am cutting right back on my guitars and other stuff like amps etc.

If you have any other queries please just ask.

f it helps You can hear the studio quality of the sound on the following Black Cart tracks where I used this in the studio for the depth of tone needed from a LP. Let's face it , it is unique. Big Soloing etc near end.
