The combination of alder?known for its neutral, flat tone?with the high-output Texas Special pickups produces a richly expressive sound, making this model ideal for rock and blues performances.
The pots have been replaced. There are scratches and dents throughout the body, paint cracks at the joint, paint peeling on the headstock, and tarnish on the metal parts.
The frets have been filed down and have about 7/10 of their original height remaining; the neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is adjustable.
