The Jo-Ral Copper Bubble Mute (model TPT-2C) is a premium, handcrafted brass mute favored by jazz musicians for its rich, warm timbre and distinctive, edgy buzz. Designed for near-perfect intonation across all registers, the uniquely rounded "bubble" profile maximizes projection while producing a highly sought-after "wah-wah" effect.
Premium Construction: Spun entirely from copper or a spun-aluminum/copper hybrid to deliver depth and warmth.
Durable Fit: Equipped with neoprene-enhanced composite cork pads that grip the bell securely and won’t dry out or flake.
Protection: Usually ships with a soft felt cap to protect the copper bottom when stored.
This mute is in excellent condition with little use. There are some slight signs of wear (see photos), but they are minimal. No dents, top is round, stem is round, cork is fantastic. About as close to brand new as you can get without the price tag.
