It’s been in a non smoking working studio for 20 years. When transporting from one studio to another a knob got slightly bent, it has never affected anything. Besides that, it has been faithfully maintained by a pro studio repair tech over the years. The price reflects the regular maintenance. It has had new tubes and replacement of parts to keep it in perfect operating condition. Although, built like a tank, the sound diminishes over time if not properly maintained.
