I acquired this microphone directly from the late Bob Crowley in 2007, in trade for one of my own Austin Ribbon Microphones (AustinMics.com). I am the 2nd owner. This was Bob's personal microphone.

The Naked Eye isn't just a studio workhorse; it’s a piece of audio history. Discontinued. No longer manufactured with the original aluminum ribbon. I have mixed feelings on selling it. Bob was a friend. But I am no longer recording or producing, so it should be used and enjoyed by an active user.
- Excellent condition. Fully functional. Kept in a smoke-free, climate-controlled environment.
- Incredible transient response, rich lows, and a beautifully rolled-off top end.
- Dual-voiced - The front and back of the mic offer slightly different frequency responses due to the offset ribbon.
