These modern recreations of the legendary 1960s '84-style pencil mic provide a classic, large-sounding presence with a creamy smooth top-end and a beefy mid-to-bottom. Unlike modern transformerless budget mics, the WA-84 utilizes a custom heavy-nickel CineMag USA transformer, premium Fairchild transistors, and Wima capacitors for absolute signal integrity. Perfect for drum overheads, acoustic guitars, piano, strings, and brass.
