ULTRA RARE 1963-1964 Fender Stratocaster Case and Full case Candy set - strap, polish cloth, hang tags. etc NEAR MINT White Cookies and Cream

About 15 years ago, I was fortunate enough to purchase one of the cleanest 1963 Stratocasters I had ever seen directly from the family of its original owner. At the time, the guitar was being kept in a gig bag. The family mentioned that they knew the original case was somewhere, but they could not locate it. They kindly told me that if it ever turned up, they would reach back out.

Fast forward several years: I eventually found a replacement case and, about five years ago, moved on from the guitar. Now, more than a decade later, the family reached back out to let me know they had found the original case. Even more amazingly, they also found the complete case-candy set, including:

Original strap
Pack of strings
Cable
Catalog
Extremely rare original polish cloth in the wax paper with tag

This is not only a full-suite collector’s dream, but also the absolute cleanest 1963/1964 Stratocaster case I have ever come across. The latches spring open like new. Anyone familiar with Pre-CBS Fender instruments knows that the white Tolex, often referred to as the “cookies and cream” case, is one of the rarest Stratocaster cases. It was only produced for a very short period between 1963 and 1964.

Because of the light-colored Tolex, these cases often show age, yellowing, and wear much more than the black cases Fender switched to shortly afterward. Many examples that come up for sale are heavily yellowed, worn, or beat up. This case is truly special: it has been well loved, shows only minimal signs of use, and has exactly the kind of honest, clean preservation collectors hope to find.

I reached out to the person I sold the Stratocaster to in hopes of reuniting the guitar with its original case and accessories. Unfortunately, he has since moved on from the guitar as well. As a result, I am now offering this full original set to a very lucky collector.

A complete package like this is unlikely to come up for sale again. If you own a 1963–1964 Stratocaster and want to bring it closer to a true collector-grade dream set, this is a rare opportunity.
