To further enhance their already incredibly flexible Sontronics STC-1 instrument cardioid condenser mic, individual hypercardioid capsule are also available in the shape of the Sontronics HYPER capsules.

If you have critical recording applications that dictate the need for a specific pickup response, then these capsules will do the job without complication. Simply unscrew the STC-1's standard cardioid capsule and screw on the new one… it really is as easy as that!

The capsule are also compatible with the Sontronics STC-1S matched pair, although with the HYPER capsules fitted, the microphones are no longer classed as 'matched'.
