One Fender Player Telecaster Limited Edition in British Racing Green. Made in Mexico.
Alder body. Maple neck. Seymour Duncan 'Quarter-Pounder' pickups.
Condition (and background): I bought this off a private seller online who had bought this as his only electric guitar but as an acoustic player, he decided he didn't like it and hardly played it at all. It is therefore in a condition I'd describe as lightly played to the extent that if there weren't some very light plectrum contact marks on the pickguard, it is in near-new condition. The photos will hopefully attest to that.
I later bought the other (later) Player II Telecaster in BRG but the one with the rosewood fingerboard and the only difference in condition between mine (brand new) and this one I'm selling used - is the above-mentioned pickguard marks. It is in <that> good a condition.
The guitar will come with a basic gig bag that I am donating as part of the sale - whether delivered or collected. This was not part of the original guitar and is a small sweetener on my part.
The guitar has its original 'case candy' which if I remember correctly was the certificate and a neck label with some codes/etc on it. That's all I have but I trust this was what originally came with the guitar.
This guitar is collection-only as the basic premise. But ... if someone really wants it without collecting, I am prepared either:
1) To deliver in person for an agreed additional delivery fee to be discussed BEFORE any purchase is made and only within a maximum radius of 50 miles from Manchester. I would edit the auction to add an agreed fee to cover petrol and mileage;
or
(2) To arrange a courier but I am hugely and I really mean <massively> reluctant due to the time it will take me to pack a guitar and the risks where a courier either breaks or damages an instrument or, even if not, does something stupid like deliver to a neighbour and the guitar is never seen again. I simply don't want to and I'm extremely unlikely to say yes. Even if I do, I may simply agree to increase the price overall to reflect the absurd amount of time I will need to spend to pack it. I packed an old stereo amplifier I sold via Facebook earlier this year and it took the best part of evening to do. It is a huge hassle and I want to avoid it - and I'm being upfront but honest about this.
