Taylor Next Generation PS14ce – Honduran Rosewood & Sinker Redwood

The Presentation Series represents Taylor's pinnacle of lutherie—the finest tonewoods, most refined comfort features, and most exquisite appointments available. The Next Generation PS14ce raises that bar further with three landmark design innovations that redefine what a premium acoustic-electric can be.

An Extraordinary Tonewood Pairing

Honduran rosewood back and sides deliver a powerful, throaty low-end response with crystalline trebles and lush overtones that bloom and sustain long after the note is struck. Paired with a sinker redwood soundboard—sourced from logs submerged for decades in California riverbeds—the result is cedar-like warmth, exceptional touch sensitivity, and a dynamic range that handles delicate fingerpicking and aggressive strumming with equal authority.

Next-Generation Construction

Scalloped V-Class bracing pushes low-end warmth, volume, and sustain even further while preserving the pitch accuracy and projection of Taylor's original V-Class architecture. A long-tenon neck joint increases resonance and sustain throughout the body, and the Action Control Neck enables fast, precise string height adjustments on the fly—no tech visit required.

Stage-Ready Electronics & Comfort

Onboard Claria System electronics make it effortless to shape your amplified tone in any live setting. A radius-style armrest reduces fatigue during extended playing sessions, making this as comfortable as it is inspiring.
