1960s Roberts Model 192 Tube-Driven Reel-to-Reel Tape Recorder

Very Good Condition.

This Roberts Model 192 is a vintage tube-driven reel-to-reel tape recorder housed in a portable suitcase-style enclosure with integrated amplifier and speaker system. The unit features a gray textured covering, illuminated VU meter, microphone and phono inputs, headphone output, and external speaker connections.

The Model 192 was produced during the early hi-fi tape era and reflects the industrial styling and tube-based electronics common to late 1950s and early 1960s consumer and semi-professional recording equipment. Controls include dedicated transport levers for play, record, rewind, and forward functions, along with separate volume and tone controls.

This example retains its original Roberts badging, integrated carrying handle, rear-mounted power cord storage, and tube-driven electronics chassis. An empty take-up reel is included.
