The string height, using light gauge strings, is approximately 2.6mm on the 6th string side and 1.7mm on the 1st string side at the 12th fret.

There are slight paint changes near the low and high positions on the back of the neck, and some paint changes are also visible on the lower part of the top, but there is no damage to the wood and playability is good. The Gibson Custom Shop 1960’s J-200 possesses a style befitting its title as the “King of Flat-Tops.” Faithfully reproducing the golden-era SJ-200 of the 1960s, it is a top-of-the-line jumbo guitar boasting overwhelming volume, brilliant high frequencies, and rich harmonics.

The combination of a Sitka spruce top and beautiful figured maple sides and back allows for a wide range of expression, from powerful strumming to delicate fingerpicking. It features a 3-piece flame maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard and bridge. Furthermore, it employs the Tune-O-Matic (TOM) bridge, a characteristic of 1960s models, achieving clear attack and excellent intonation accuracy.

The J-200's luxurious decorations, such as the distinctive flower pickguard and mother-of-pearl crown inlay, are also a major attraction. This is a special guitar that revives the style and sound of the 1960s, beloved by legendary artists, possessing presence, playability, and sound all in one.
