This listing is for my 2022 Epiphone Adam Jones Les Paul Custom Antique Silverburst Art Collection guitar in fantastic, un-played condition. Serial Number 22091531736 and this beauty weighs in at a stout 9.0 pounds. I bought this guitar four years ago and it has been sitting with my other collector guitars. Original Epiphone hardshell case, Paperwork, Case Key, Inspector Ticket and all the Stickers included. I have everything photographed for you to see. This guitar has never been gigged and barely has an hour of sit down, at home play time. It still presents exactly as it left the factory — a true collector's piece in every sense.

I am proud to tell you this one is in impeccable condition. The only thing keeping this listing from being MINT Condition are the two tiny chips on the upper rear headstock edge. I have a photo for you to see them. I could have taken a black Sharpie and touched them and most people would never have noticed. When you pop the heavy duty Epiphone case, it still has that factory new aroma. THAT IS IT! There is nothing else to tell you about this one. No Rash, No Pick Marks. Look at the Mirror Hardware and Pickup. The plastic is still on the switch cover and rear tuners. Look closely at the rear headstock photos. the tuners have the factory plastic protectors on the centers. AMAZING!! It is glossy smooth and shows pristine as the day it was made.

This unprecedented limited-edition collection blends Adam Jones' love of fine art and music, resulting in seven iconic and unique Les Paul Custom Silverburst masterpieces featuring the artwork of five distinguished visual artists, all curated personally by Adam Jones of Tool. Each of the seven releases features a unique piece of artwork on the back, chosen by Adam from artists including Mark Ryden, Frank Frazetta, Julie Heffernan, Korin Faught, and Ernst Fuchs. Only 800 guitars of each model were produced. The collection is now officially discontinued and unavailable new anywhere in the world.

Why the Rose Skirt and Mouse?

The "Study for Self-Portrait with Rose Skirt and a Mouse" is based on Julie Heffernan's signature painting by the same title. The nude self-portrait draws on art historical representations of the figure to reflect on pressing contemporary concerns, including women's rights, the precarity of the environment, and other socially relevant topics. Stylistically, the baroque-flavored Heffernan model is the complete visual and thematic opposite of the previous "Berserker" release — trading a fiery sword-wielding warrior for something far more calming and contemplative. It is the most visually distinctive and thematically layered piece in the entire collection — a guitar that is as much fine art as it is instrument. Heffernan's work is represented by Catharine Clark Gallery in San Francisco and Hirschl and Adler Modern in New York.
