This Fender Jazzmaster was made in the USA in 1962. Its hard to find a guitar that plays like a pre-cbs Fender and sounds like a 70's Gibson SG but that's what this is. The guitar has a pair of early 70's patent sticker t-top pickups that sound incredible. The body was refinished black, the neck has the original finish and decal. The neck is stamped August 62 and has a curved rosewood fretboard. Aside from the pickups, the tuners are also changed but most of the other parts are original. The plastic parts, bridge, trem unit, pots, neckplate are all original. The rhythm circuit has been disconnected so it has master volume, master tone, and a 3-way switch. The guitar weighs 8 pounds 6 ounces. It has been pro-setup in our store and plays great. It comes with a non original hard case.
