Up for sale is a fantastic, late-1990s **Sonor S-Class** snare drum. Known for precision German engineering and exceptional sonic clarity, this mid-to-high-line classic is a versatile powerhouse that fits perfectly in any studio or live setup.
This particular model is a rarer **13" x 5.5"** size, offering a crisp, punchy crack, quick response, and a surprisingly wide tuning range. The shell veneer is a beautiful gloss Birdseye Maple.
Original Sonor lugs, throw-off, and heavy-duty hoops. Standard slotted Sonor tension rods. Slotted key included.
The drum is in great, fully functional condition. The natural wood grain finish looks stunning with very minimal signs of wear. The chrome hardware and hoops show typical light surface swirling/aging but are clean, free of significant pitting, and polish up beautifully. The throw-off operates smoothly, and the bearing edges are sharp and true. Fitted with a Remo drumhead on top, ready to play.
