This is the Fender Vintera '60s Jazzmaster in Olympic White, purchased new in 2023 by me and kept in a humidity-controlled music room alongside my other acoustic & electric guitars. "Jazz" has been professionally set up and plays exceptionally easily with low, comfortable action & has a smoothly dressed fretboard. She‘s basically in new condition with only two extremely minor cosmetic finish imperfections. The first is a small 2.5 mm mark located just below the lower-right pickguard screw (see photo). The second is an approximately 1 mm mark located lower and to the left of the first, but is too small to be captured clearly by an iPhone camera and is only visible under certain lighting angles. These imperfections are purely cosmetic and do not affect playability in any way. It has had very little playing time, as I've shifted most of my time focused on acoustic playing.
The Jazzmaster is known for its warm, full-bodied single-coil tone with exceptional clarity and articulation. Its unique sound has made it a favorite for surf, indie rock, alternative, blues, and classic rock, while remaining versatile enough for many other styles. Featuring Fender's vintage-inspired '60s Jazzmaster design, re-voiced single-coil pickups, classic floating tremolo, and comfortable Mid-'60s C neck profile, it delivers the authentic look, feel, and tone that have made the Jazzmaster a favorite among players for decades. It really is a beautiful looking & sounding instrument that you will catch yourself just staring at when not playing it!
She will arrive in her padded gig bag, carefully & safely packed in a guitar box with a second outer box for added protection. Inflatable guitar vests as well as bubble wrap and other safe packing materials will keep her snug and safe for her trip. The pickup selector switch knob will be stored in a zip bag and the tremolo bar will be packed in the gig bag pocket. All original tags and documents will be included.
Fender serial number MX23004553. Includes the original Fender gig bag.
More details from Fender:
For players who want the style and sound of Fender’s golden era, Fender created the Vintera ‘60s Jazzmaster. Equipped with the coveted features that defined the decade—including period-accurate neck profile and playing feel, along with re-voiced pickups—this guitar has all of the warm, smooth sounds that made the Jazzmaster a legend.
For authentic, vintage-style tone Fender re-voiced the pair of wide single-coil Jazzmaster pickups to behave more like the originals. The warm, smooth-sounding neck pickup is balanced by the bright, cutting bridge pickup. The “Mid 60s C”-shaped neck has a classy painted headstock, along with a 7.25”-radius maple fingerboard with 21 vintage-style frets for a classic feel. A vintage-style Jazzmaster floating tremolo and vintage-style tuning machines provide original-era aesthetics, rock-solid performance, and tuning stability. Other features include the classic lead/rhythm circuit, chrome hardware, and 4-bolt neck plate. Includes a deluxe gig bag.
