The ESP Original Series Eclipse Custom represents the very best of what the ESP Custom Shop in Japan has to offer. Handcrafted by master luthiers and built with uncompromising attention to detail, this is a modern single-cut guitar designed for players who demand elite performance. Its Honduras mahogany body with a maple cap delivers the rich sustain and authority that players expect from this style of instrument, while the Thin U-profile mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard create a fast, effortless playing experience that feels every bit as refined as its striking Andromeda II finish looks.

Tonally, the Eclipse Custom is built to excel in demanding musical environments. The EMG JH “Het Set” pickups, developed to meet James Hetfield’s exacting standards, combine the punch and clarity of passive pickups with the precision, tight low end, and articulate attack of an active system. The result is a voice that stays focused under high gain, delivers crushing rhythm tones, and retains exceptional note definition for lead work. Whether you’re tracking in the studio or commanding a stage, this guitar responds with power, consistency, and remarkable clarity.

Every component has been chosen to support peak performance. Gotoh locking tuners, a TonePros locking Tune-O-Matic bridge, Gotoh tailpiece, graphite nut, and ESP strap locks work together to provide exceptional tuning stability and reliability. Elegant ESP flag inlays, black nickel hardware, and the captivating finish complete a guitar that feels as exclusive as it sounds. The ESP Original Series Eclipse Custom is a world-class instrument that blends custom-shop craftsmanship, modern precision, and uncompromising tone into one extraordinary package. Available at Haggerty’s Music.
