I AM MOVING TO FL IN 12 DAYS, THIS IS THE LAST PRICE DROP BEFORE I MOVE, I REALLY DON'T WANT TO MOVE THIS. IF I DO HAVE TO MOVE THIS THE PRICE WILL RETURN TO ORIGINGAL PRICE. this is an early 90's upper and lower Checkerboard reissue 1960 AX/1960 BX in excellent condition, never gigged and kept in a smoke free studio. It comes loaded with 8xCelestion G12H-30 speakers. This was owned by Eric Clapton and comes with a great story, I got these from George Alessandro of Hound Dog Amps in PA. George worked on all Clapton's amps at the time (he may still, I don't know). EC used these for a tour in the 90's, here's the story which I love. When I got the Cabinets they were and perfect shape, but with no speakers! Apparently he had these onstage merely for show and was actually playing through a Fender Twin Reveb that nobody saw! They are rare and valuable just checkerboard cabs which I think haven't been years. I'm sure I'll get a dozen snotty messages if I'm wrong! I do not have the provenance on these because EC did not play through them but they were owned by him. Great hard to find Cabs in great condition and comes with a great backstory
