This one nails that '70s J-Bass vibe at a price that's hard to argue with. The natural finish lets the soft maple body grain show through, paired with a black-bound maple neck, black block inlays, and a 3-ply black pickguard for that unmistakable Geddy Lee / Jaco-era look.

It's a head-turner on a stand and even better in your hands.

Tone-wise, the dual Fender-designed single-coil Jazz pickups cover a ton of ground. Roll both volumes up for that scooped, growling J-Bass punch, favor the neck pickup for warm, round lows, or dial in the bridge for bite and definition. Funk, rock, reggae, jazz — it sits in the mix beautifully and has way more sustain and output than the price suggests.

The slim "C"-shaped maple neck with a 9.5" radius and 20 medium-jumbo frets plays fast and comfortable, and the synthetic bone nut keeps everything tidy.

Fair warning in the best way: like a real '70s bass, this thing has some weight to it — it feels solid and substantial on a strap. The very only reason why I'm selling it is because I've just upgraded to a different kind of bass. Otherwise this Jazz is actually a very comfy and lovely sounding instrument.

The bass is in very good condition, I bought it new and so I'm the only owner. The only reason I'm selling this bass is to fund a different bass that I always wanted(a precision special), otherwise I would definitely keep it (as it sounds fantastic) as I did for the last 9 years.
