Gibson 1980 Sonex 180 Deluxe Truss Rod Cover Black

A 1980 Gibson Sonex 180 Deluxe truss rod cover — good condition with visible wear and yellowing consistent with age. The Sonex 180 was Gibson's attempt at a budget-priced solid-body in the early 1980s, featuring a multi-piece mahogany body with a Resonwood synthetic top, and correct period replacement parts for these guitars are not easy to find. The right piece for a Sonex 180 Deluxe restoration where originality matters. Wear is cosmetic and consistent with a 45-year-old plastic part.  There is a crack at one of the screw holes, but it'll hold on just fine as is.
