For your consideration is a vintage Neumann SM 69 FET stereo microphone in completely refurbished as-new condition, complete with shockmount, two power supplies, and three cables. This microphone has been completely rebuilt, including NEW factory-matched Neumann K870/67 capsules and a total recapping and calibration of the electronics. I’ve owned this microphone since the 1980s and it has seen only light duty on studio and classical/choral remote sessions. It now performs and sounds better than when I got it 40+ years ago. This very complete package includes:

◦ Neumann SM 69 FET stereo microphone with NEW factory-matched Neumann K870/67 capsules, as used in the famous U67 reissue, installed and certified by the Mic Shop in Nashville; one of only five “Neumann controlled part” distributors in the country

◦ Complete electronic overhaul and recap by veteran Neumann tech Tom Onofrio to factory-new spec

◦ Original shockmount with new OEM Neumann elastic

◦ Original Neumann NS 69 phantom power supply, type CU 48i, with nine-position pattern control, tested and working perfectly

◦ Custom ultra-quiet Lambda AC power supply with three-position pattern selection, tested and working perfectly

◦ 20-meter (~65’) cable

◦ 30-meter (~98’) cable

◦ Very handy ultra-short 3-meter cable; all cables tested and working perfectly

◦ Original microphone case with matching serial number

This is the most complete and best-sounding vintage Neumann SM 69 FET package you are going to find. This microphone sounds absolutely wonderful on nearly every source and will be the ultimate addition to your mic locker. Thanks for looking!
