For sale is a remarkably clean 1995 Marshall JCM 900 Hi Gain Dual Reverb (Model 4500). This is the 50-watt version, widely considered the more "playable" head for modern clubs and recording compared to its 100-watt counterpart. The History:This amp is a true "time capsule" find. It has been carefully stored and not played for 25 years. It is in excellent cosmetic condition with very minimal wear to the tolex, which is rare for a 30-year-old Marshall.Important Technical Note:Voltage: This is a 110V/120V model (North American voltage). It will require a step-down transformer to run on UK 240V mains.
Condition: Because it has been dormant for two decades, I have not powered it on to protect the original transformers and capacitors. It is being sold "as-is" for the buyer to have professionally serviced/re-biased before use.Specifications:Model: 4500 (50W Dual Reverb)Date of Manufacture: May 1995 (Serial: 959781318)Channels: Two independent channels (A: Clean/Crunch, B: High Gain)Features: Dual Reverb controls, FX Loop, and Direct Out.
