The COMPOSER ROM is the Sound ROM Expansion Board E-MU made for the Proteus 2000 rack synthesizer. Special to the COMPOSER ROM is that it has EIGHT (8) BANKS of presets, which means 1024 preset patches ON THE ROM itself (your synth will also have the USER banks of patches, and possibly other banks of preset patches if other ROMs are installed in your synth). You can have all the sounds from the E-MU Proteus 2000 module by adding this ROM to your P2K-class synth.

This Expansion Board is compatible with E-MU Proteus-2000-class synthesizers (BUT THERE MUST BE AN EMPTY SLOT AVAILABLE TO INSTALL THIS BOARD INTO). This includes rack-module synthesizers, command-station / drum machine synths, and Keyboard synths.
