I am selling my 500-series, Solid State Logic Ultraviolet EQ. I am making room in my rack for some other effects. I haven't used it very much, so it's time for something else. It is very clean and sounds like SSL, but I have the larger format Fusion box that has the violet EQ in it already. It's in excellent condition.

The SSL UltraViolet 500-Series Stereo EQ takes the acclaimed minimum phase-shift Violet stereo EQ section from Fusion and puts it into the 500-series format. An ideal partner for the SSL G-COMP Stereo Bus Compressor module, now 500-series owners can experience the SSL master bus EQ in their own racks.

Over and above the Fusion Violet EQ, the UltraViolet EQ takes features one step further, adding two dedicated mid-bands, with the unique Focus control, for ultimate EQ flexibility. The UV-EQ draws on the SSL legacy of careful selection of frequencies and response curves to create a musical and intuitive EQ designed to quickly dial in the sound of your mix. 

Focus Mode
Focus mode allows the user to 'hone in' on problem frequencies or specific frequencies they want to accentuate or attenuate. Pressing the 'Focus' switch in, automatically narrows the chosen Q setting further and increases the range of gain available beyond the normal +/-9 dB operation. In true flexible SSL workflow fashion, it transforms this sweet sounding, musical SSL EQ into a more surgical tool.
