The Yamaha RGX420S-D6 Drop 6 is a rare and unique baritone electric guitar designed for players who want the extended range and tighter string tension of a baritone without moving to a 7-string instrument. Built in Taiwan during Yamaha's highly regarded early 2000s production era, the D6 combines the fast-playing feel of a super strat with an extended scale length that excels in lower tunings.

Finished in Metallic Green, this guitar features a comfortable double-cutaway body, bolt-on maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, dual humbuckers, and a double-locking tremolo system. The extended scale length provides improved clarity and definition in lower tunings while still retaining the familiar feel of a traditional 6-string guitar.

This example is in very good overall condition and shows normal cosmetic wear from use. There are light scratches and handling marks throughout along with a small finish chip on the upper horn as shown in the photos. The neck and frets present well, and the electronics function properly. The tremolo arm is not included.
