Personal Thoughts:
This is a really classy modern build and exactly the sort of spec Mayones does so well. The Aquila Elite has that sleek, high-end boutique feel, but still looks like a proper player’s guitar rather than something too flashy or overdesigned. The Lagoon Burst Gloss finish over a 4A quilted maple top is obviously a big part of the appeal, and paired with the trans natural rear and neck finish it should look especially refined in person. The swamp ash body and ebony board should give it loads of clarity and snap, while the neck with graphite reinforcement keeps it firmly in that stable, modern high-performance lane. I also like the Bare Knuckle Silo set here, because that gives the guitar a more serious, contemporary voice while still keeping plenty of articulation. A very attractive and very well-specced Mayones.
