One of only 200 made, featuring a beautifully figured roasted ash body and the unique roasted maple neck and fretboard combo (which are the same piece of wood. No separate fretboardband neck woods, which I've never seen). The grain pattern on this one is nicer than any other I've seen of this model and it's only 7 lbs. This was my dream guitar I never planned to sell but I am moving next week and need to.
Fender absolutely nailed this run.
This guitar has all the vintage goodness you'd expect from the AVRI series, including the substantial Thick Soft V neck profile. (The carve is quite full and many players describe it as feeling closer to a chunky C/D than a pronounced V) Vintage-correct 7.25" fingerboard radius, vintage-style tremolo, and classic '56 Strat pickups. Lightweight, resonant, and extremely lively acoustically.
Includes the original bridge cover ("ashtray"), tremolo arm, and original Fender tweed case which is more worn than the guitar is, but perfectly working. The roasted wood has also developed that unmistakable sweet vintage nitro smell that guitar nerds know and love.
Condition is great overall with a few minor dings, scratches, and signs of normal handling here and there, but nothing significant. Frets are in very excellent shape and the guitar plays beautifully. Truss rod has never been turned before either.
