This unit was serviced, some caps were replaced. Output is now noise free and the unit works as intended. The Remote works, however it seems a little strange. The sub section has trouble engaging from the remote. Cosmetically it's a solid 8.5/10 I would say. Comes with Case and 1/4" to 1/8" cable.
This is a serious beast. The FX are amazing sounding, versatile and can be used in any number of situations on any number of sources. Originally, it's intended use was for Woodwinds. The original Pick Up is included, but is missing the mouth piece to connect it to a saxophone. But as certain people like The Silver Apples discovered, this can be a powerful tool to generate Square Wave synth tones with. What's neat about this unit is that it actually has a DRY/WET control, which not many people talk about. This allows you to generate a tone, based on the pitch fed to the input, and then can be split to 2 different outputs, one being dry the other being wet, or a mixture. The tremolo is cool and simple. The tone is amazing and filters can be extremely drastic or subtle, but always musical. I would keep it to use after a gate and put it under kicks and snares for texture, but I am looking for old Eventide gear at the moment. The Fuzz section is wild. Super aggressive!!! The Tone controls come in handy when using the Fuzz section. This unit really reacts differently with different gain staging, and takes some time to get used to, but once you do it's extremely intuitive and creatively inspiring to use. Please enjoy the demonstration video linked below.
Please Note that I am looking for an Eventide H910 and a pair of Sennheiser MKH 404 or 405 microphones. If you are interested in making a trade of some sort please let me know.
