For sale we have a 2007 Gibson Les Paul Classic Plus in Honey Burst with original Gibson USA branded hardshell case. Made in the USA. The guitar is in very good overall used condition showing moderate cosmetic wear throughout. The top of the body has lots of small pinhead sized dings scattered across the surface as well as light scuffs and scratches (mostly strum wear from flat picks). The finish and figuring in the Maple top make the wear difficult to see in person and in photographs. The backside of the body shows wear more easily with buckle rash, dings, dents and scuffs present from normal use over the years (see photo). The playing surface of the neck is in good shape with only a handful of small scuffs and dings, nothing that can be felt while playing. The headstock shows some scuffs on the face and a few dings/chips around the edges. Overall an instrument that has been played-in, used and enjoyed but not abused. Structurally the guitar is sound with no breaks, cracks or repairs.

This Les Paul Classic Plus features a 24 3/4, solid Mahogany body with weight relief chambering, AA figured Maple top with Honey Burst finish, equipped with its original pair of uncovered ceramic humbucking pickups (a 496R in the neck position and a 500T in the bridge position) with double black bobbins and cream surrounds, each pickup has a dedicated volume and tone control, 4X Top Hat knobs, 3-way pickup selector switch with Amber switch tip and a Tune-O-Matic Stop tail bridge. The Mahogany neck features a comfortable slim 60’s-style taper profile measuring .800” deep at the first fret and .890” deep at the twelfth fret. The neck is on the slim side but not overly thin or bladey. Width at the nut measures 1 5/8”. The Rosewood fingerboard features a 12” radius, pearl inlaid Trapezoid fret markers and 22 original medium jumbo frets. The frets show some visible play wear through the first 10 but have good life left in them. Notes ring clean and clear with no dead spots. The neck itself is straight with truss rod access located at the headstock beneath the Classic branded cover. It turns smoothly in both directions and functions as intended. The guitar weighs in at 8 lbs. 1 oz. It will be properly packed with care prior to shipment. In-store trades only. Please reach out with any further questions.
