USA-made Gibson from the 2016 line, in the classic goldtop finish with a dark back. This is the Tribute T with 490R and 498T humbucker pickups, the same pair Gibson used in the Les Paul Custom. Weight-relieved mahogany body, mahogany neck with the rounded ’50s profile, narrow 1 11/16 nut width, rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays, 24.75” scale. Satin finish that has worn in nicely. Nut has been upgraded to a Graph Tech XL TUSQ Teflon nut for improved tuning stability. Original nut supplied in the case as well.
It plays and sounds exactly as a Les Paul should, with plenty of warmth from the neck pickup and good bite at the bridge. Currently equipped with Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinky strings. Selling this to fund an ES-335.
Condition: used and honest. See images for dings/scratches. Frets show light wear with lots of life left. All electronics, pots, switches and jack work just fine. Truss rod is functional and in good condition.
Weight: 2.25kg/4.96lbs due to weight-relieved body.
