If you have always wanted a George Harrison telecaster, this is literally one from the wall at Guitar Center, untouched. I peeled back the pick guard sticker to show that it is there, but didn't realize it would't re-stick. Otherwise this is a true time capsule of a guitar. Still got the old tagger on it. Not a mark on it anywhere.
The Rosewood Telecaster is a reissue of the iconic instrument George Harrison famously played (the original was made for him by Roger Rossmeisl in 1969). It's most famous simply for the rooftop concert (January 30, 1969). it's the guitar he played during the Beatles' last public performance on top of Apple Corps in London.
Fender Japan has produced several runs of this model, and this era from 2014 is the highest regarded of them all.
These guitars are chambered so they only weigh 7lbs, about the same as an ash Tele. It has a 7.25" radius and the thin vintage frets. I plugged it in and tested all of the positions and it works perfectly with no crackling.
This is a dream guitar for the right person. Open the large pictures and take a look at the depth of the grain in the guitar and even the neck. This is not your average example. It's really nice.
