This is one of my few Squier JV SST 30 guitars. It is made in Japan, Fujigen in 1984, has a neck heel pencil date.
The guitar is all original and it is in excellent condition, very few scraches and one ding on the front. It is all original, frets have almost no wear and still have their factory perfect crowning.
Sondwise is great, sounds like a strat, the bridge is punchy, the middle is great for funky playing, the neck is great for screamin solos, every not is clear and loud. The 2 and 4 position give the classic strat quack.
The guitar is setup with 10 gauge strings, action is low and neck is straight.
It comes with it's original leathet case.
The tonewoods selected for every JV i have and tried are excepcional, the necks fits perfectly in to the body, no gaps, resonance is amazing.
The neck is on the thicker side and feels great.
