Description
This guitar is a combination of original and after market parts. If you're looking for a vintage piece that is an exceptional player and is ready to go, this would be a great option for you! The guitar is insanely resonant, plays great, and the original P90 pickup sounds amazing!

This is an amazing vintage Gibson SG Junior with a serial number dating 1970-1972. It has a nice chunky neck profile. The pots are all original and untampered, with factory soldering covering the number of the exact year of production. It's possible that it's had refinish work done; but currently shows off a natural color with a light nitro finish. This guitar has been serviced under the care of our world class technicians. It has upgrades along with originality that'll be covered below:

Original Parts

This Gibson SG features an original pickguard, ALL ORIGINAL pots, wiring, jack, and its original Soapbar P90 Pickup.

Repair
This SG does have a professional crack repair. It wasn't a full headstock break. But instead, starts on the left side near the nut and ends on the front of the headstock. The repair was done very well and the guitar is more stable than ever. The natural facing headstock has a 'Gibson' logo with no dot in the 'I'; which is indicative characteristic of SG juniors from '67 - '72.

Upgrades

Our technicians swapped out the original vibrola piece with an All Parts vibrola system (original part included with sale) along with an after market bridge. This guitar also has a newer set of vintage correct Kluson Deluxe tuners.
