Owned this one since new. Realized I no longer have an analog tape deck. Will return through Reverb any shipping overpayment. It is true, you need to occasionally demagnetize the deck heads for top performance, and to protect against loss of signal and tape content.
Turn off your tape deck.
- Plug in and power on the E-3.
- Bring the tip close to the head or metal part.
- Move gently across each surface for a few seconds.
- Slowly withdraw the E-3 at least 12 inches away before turning it off to prevent re-magnetization.
Regular use of the E-3 helps maintain high-fidelity playback and recording quality, ensuring your analog gear performs at its best.
