The Oberheim Matrix 6 and dedicated iPad controller w/ Patch-Base. Lets you easily edit every voice parameter in real-time. Adjust and fine-tune all the oscillators, filter, envelopes, LFOs and modulation capabilities the Matrix-6 offers.
The Matrix-6 is the Xpander's little brother. Not only similar in sound and modulation, but with Patch-Base, instant access of every parameter AND the visual representation is bar none!!
Patch-Base is awesome!! Touch the parameter circle, slide up or down to increase or decrease the value. With the outstanding full parameter display, it doesn't get any easier than this!!
* I used to have a Rhodes Chroma with an Oberheim Xpander and the Kurzweil K2500RS I have for sale here on Reverb sitting on top. The Chroma stands by itself. But the organic growl of the Xpander along with the pristine clarity of the K2600RS... That was a special combination. You'd come pretty close here with this Matrix-6 and same K2500RS...
I added a right angle Lightning adapter and Lightning to USB with lightning power port for the USB-MIDI adapter and to simultaneously charge the iPad.
