The Silvertone 1448 is one of the most recognizable catalog guitars of the 1960s, known for its raw garage-rock tone and the unforgettable amp built directly into the case. Finished in Black Sparkle, this example captures the quirky charm and stripped-down simplicity that made these guitars cult favorites among collectors and lo-fi players alike.
This vintage set includes the original case amplifier, one of the model’s most distinctive and sought-after features. The compact single-pickup design, lightweight construction, and built-in amp setup give the 1448 its unmistakably retro character, making it both a fun player and a standout display piece from the Sears catalog era.
