I have a 2023 Paul Reed Smith NF 53 here with its factory soft case.

This guitar looks nice.

The body top shows a soft sheen of guitar pick strumming on the plastic pickguard and a lesser amount of superficial swirling here and there on the body itself. I did not find any major marks or penetrating finish scratches.

The body sides/edges show just light scattered signs of surface swirling, but no heavy accumulation. I did not find any chips or dings. There are no neck pocket cracks.

The body back shows some light superficial playwear, mostly on the tummy cutaway portion. These are very light surface scratches, the kind that are difficult to see unless you turn the guitar in the light. There is also a larger amount of very fine surface rubbing marks similar to what I described on the pickguard, consisting of faint superficial swirling. However, I did not find anything I would constitute as buckle rash or worming. I don't see any deep playwear, nor did I find any singular marks such as dings, bumps, or chips.

The neck shaft contour looks and feels excellent with nothing to report there. The headstock likewise has no dings or chips and looks great. The frets are tall and full, showing no pits or divots. The setup plays fantastic. The workmanship from PRS is immaculate, so as is often the case, the guitar plays exceptionally well. The original electronics are working as they should.

This one rates an 8.8/10 and grades as very good, though still on the better side of very good. I found that the neck and body top are excellent. The body back has a degree of faint superficial swirling-type signs of use, but nothing ugly or overt. It's still the kind of wear that you have to search for when looking at the guitar. Overall, it presents well, with the body back showing light signs of use while the top, sides, and neck retain a more crisp, excellent appearance. It balances out nicely.

The guitar is structurally and sonically sound and plays and sounds great.

This model has some vintage Telecaster influences. Met with the modern Innovations and quality of the Paul Reed Smith brand. Most unique here are the pickups. It sounds closer to a humbucker than a single coil pickup. Maybe about the same power level and attack as a p90. But it is more rounded sounding than a p90. It's a beautiful harmonically rich custom humbucker sound is how I would describe it. This balances nicely with the brass overtones inherent from the hardware. And the resonant punchy tonality of Ash and maple wood. The build quality is right up there with the core USA custom series PRS guitars. It really feels like an uppermost premium instrument both in tone and playability.

Note that this listing may come down at any time as I am a multi-platform seller and do sell locally and on my own Site as well in an effort to keep sales fluid. State sales tax will be charged on Reverb sales when applicable, so factor that into your purchase.

I will immaculately pack it as well. I use quality shipping boxes, ample tape on all sides. And sufficient bubble wrap filler and bracing inside the box. And always Marked/denoted as fragile. I generally detune guitars 1/2 half step prior to shipment as well if needed.

Thank you for reading and considering!
