This is our a classic take on the fully hollow thin-line electric guitar known for its warm, resonant, and versatile vintage tone, featuring Dogear P-90 pickups, a Sapele body, mahogany neck, and trapeze tailpiece, making it a favorite for blues, jazz, rock, and Americana. It's a distinct cousin to the Epiphone Casino, differing from the semi-hollow ES-335 by lacking a center block, which contributes to its airy sound but also makes it more feedback-prone at high volumes, though controllable for musical sustain.

Solid Sapele wood throughout. Features a wide "Nashville" Tune-O-Matic bridge this offers better intonation adjustment for individual strings due to its greater saddle adjustment range. The body thickness on all sides is a consistent 1.75". Similar to a Gibson 335 in shape, constructed most notably like the Gibson ES-330, which shares the iconic double-cutaway body but lacks the center block of the semi-hollow ES-335, giving it a different, often brighter P-90 tone and lighter feel.

The Epiphone Casino: Another fully hollow classic with P-90s and the 335/330 body shape. The P-90 pickups offer a versatile, powerful tone that bridges single-coil clarity and humbucker thickness, providing a unique blend of bright bite, rich midrange, and aggressive grit, making them great for everything from clean blues to crunchy rock and punk by responding dynamically to pick attack and volume knob adjustments for expressive, articulate sounds. Highly responsive to playing dynamics and volume/tone knob changes, allowing for a wide range of clean, gritty, and overdriven sounds. Which is better, Sapele or mahogany? Sapele is quite a bit denser and nearly twice as hard. Not all of the Mahogany labelled species behave as well and they vary dramatically in density, color, and stability. However, the comparison to Mahogany as an outstanding exterior grade wood that has a rich reddish-brown heartwood holds true. Sapele is a popular, sustainable African hardwood used for guitar bodies and necks, often as a mahogany substitute, offering a balanced, rich tone with strong mids, bright trebles, and good clarity, plus stunning figure like quilting or striping, making it versatile for strumming and fingerstyle.
