Halo Hellion Custom Bass - 4-String - Flying V - Black and Red Trim - Hellfire Bass

Halo Custom Guitars are a California based manufacturer that formed in 2004 and specializes in one off, highly customizable guitars and basses, along with a few production models in very limited runs.

Here we have a rather gnarly model named the Hellion Bass, with a design very similar to the Halo Hellfire guitar, which was a rare production model from the early 2010s. However, unlike the Hellfire which has quite a few photos and examples on the internet, the Hellion has quite literally zero info I can find, leading me to believe it was a custom order.

The design is pretty sick with a sharp flying V shape, a black gloss finish with a red trim, X-shaped bone inlays along with a Hellion engrave on the 12th fret.

Other specs include a neck-thru design, passive electronics with dual Hellbucker pickups, and a unique hi-mass monorail bridge with a string-thru layout.

The overall condition of it is good with an unfortunate chip on the lower right horn being the only real flaw, typical for basses with this design. It's otherwise very clean with only normal signs of use and a few scratches.

The playability is very good as well. The action is low at around 2.0mm on the 12th fret. The neck is straight and all hardware including the truss rod functions perfectly and is happy to adjust to your needs. Also despite being an absolute beast in size, it's actually rather lightweight at 8.7Ib, making it comfortable to play for long hours.
