Resurrected from a hand-drawn schematic found in inventor Bob Myer’s old notes by Josh Scott and Daniel Danger, the Big Muff Pi 2 features a unique circuit design employing two dual op-amps. It remains true to the classic Big Muff legacy while offering a more dynamic, slightly less refined clipping response. The familiar control set of Volume, Tone, and Sustain allows for deep "tone knob tweakery," while a first-of-its-kind latching/momentary footswitch lets you engage normal latching functionality or hold for a momentary burst of "fuzz mayhem”.

Housed in a nano-sized die-cast chassis, the Big Muff Pi 2 is built for the rigors of the road while saving valuable pedalboard space. It features silent true bypass switching via a mechanical relay to ensure your signal remains pure when the effect is disengaged. The pedal comes with a 9V battery included, but can also be powered by an optional 9.6VDC-200mA power adapter, offering flexibility for any setup.
