Vintage 1950's Turner 22 Dynamic Microphone, upgraded audio, w/stand-cable

     Offering a vintage Turner 22 Dynamic Microphone. This was one of Turner’s most popular microphones from about 1940 through the 1950's, a bullet-shaped unit with that distinctive “fin” on the top. It was a relatively inexpensive mic but a solid quality model designed for PA systems and recording. Many people used them with CB radios when CB was all the craze. That fin on top became a trademark for Turner and they used it on other models as well. Some users said the fin gave it a “Buck Rogers” spaceship vibe. The physical condition is good with minor wear from use/age.

     The model 22 came in two versions, the 22X which had a crystal element for use in high impedance systems, and the 22D which was a dynamic unit. (The dynamic model was priced higher than the crystal.) This one has an upgraded dynamic capsule, low impedance, and features a three pin Amphenol connector. We're including a short adapter cable with a standard male XLR plug, as well as a basic display desk stand. (Check the voice sample in the listing video.)
