Here is one of those quintessential vintage A’s with that warm, mysterious, slightly hazy wash and a nice clear articulate stick that can swing, groove and go upbeat, as called for. It also has a nice tall bell that is clear and distinct.
Remincent of so many classic sounds from the 1950’s and 1960’s. With a vibe that spanned those different spectrums of cool…At home in rhythm and blues, rock n roll, pop, folk rock, psychedelic, surf beat, bebop, soul and on and on.
This one has built up plenty of patina but is in great shape otherwise and is free from keyholing, nicks or dents.
It has 5 of the 6 vintage style brass rivets installed for extra vibe and sizzle. Easy to take out though if not your style and of course I’m happy to remove them pre-shipping, upon request.
