Up for sale is a used Akai MPK49 USB/MIDI Performance Keyboard Controller. A favorite among music producers and live performers, this rugged controller features premium MPC-style pads, a semi-weighted keybed, and deep assignable control options.

Testing & Functional Notes

• DAW Tested: This unit has been fully tested inside Apple Logic Pro and is completely operational and communicating with software, with one specific exception noted below.
• What Works: It successfully powers on via USB. The screen and hardware read and display data correctly. All MPC drum pads, assignable faders, revolving knobs, buttons, and pitch/mod wheels map and transmit MIDI data flawlessly.
• Known Flaw (One Dead Key): Please note that one key is currently dead and does not transmit a MIDI signal. This specific key has been physically tagged/marked for shipping so you can easily identify it . All other keys on the bed function perfectly.

Cosmetic Condition

• Average Used Condition: The outer chassis shows typical signs of studio use, including minor scuffs and surface scratches.
• Key Condition: Please note that the keys have yellowed a considerable amount due to age and light exposure. This is purely cosmetic and does not impact the mechanical action or playability of the semi-weighted keybed. (Please review all photos carefully to see the exact cosmetic condition).
