14k gold, Brazillian rosewood...and tone to match. Truly a spectacularly beautiful guitar in every regard.

Guitar is in excellent condition. I purchased this new old stock, so it had not been played since it was made, which accounts for the condition being so good.

"This McCarty burst Hollowbody II Soapbar Private Stock guitar was designed and handmade by Joseph Knaggs, Danny Dedo, Dave Hazel, Dana Seidman, Rich Hubbard, Michael Byle, Paul Miles, Scott Bloomfield, Brian Lutz, Rich Schaefer, Eric Granroth, and me. The woods, including a West Coast curly maple top and back, South American mahogany sides, curly maple neck, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, headstock veneer and truss rod cover were carefully picked from my private stock for sound and remarkable figure. Other features, such as brown lip mother of pearl Private Stock eagle and bird inlays with 14 karat gold outlines as well as Brazilian rosewood inlaid pickup rings add to this guitar's special appeal. The guitar has been played by myself, indoors, taking every precaution to baby it. I am not going to say it is in perfect condition because I'm sure someone, somewhere, could find an imperfection, but to me it is pretty close.

I understand nit-picking for a guitar at this level, so, please ask for specific pictures if you would like and I will do my best to accommodate any requests. The only modification is the strap knobs, Schaller brand S locks buttons are installed. The originals will be included as well.

SHIPPING: I've set a flat rate of $350 for either UPS or FEDEX 2 day air shipping and insurance (buyer to chose, I know different areas tend to have one that performs better than the other). Buyer will also choose whether they want to strings under tension or not. If you want overnight, we can work something out. Local buyers welcomed and preferred. Las Vegas, NV...will travel within 3 hours (S. Utah, W. Arizona, SE CA)
