This American microphone is the original Cascade Fat Head, with the same ribbon and electronics as the more popular Fat Head II but with a "fatter" head and a smaller body! Perfect for capturing the big and visceral sound of an aggressive guitar amp or giving a full, pleasing tone to horns. The Fat Head's true figure-8 ribbon design makes it particularly useful for Blumlein and mid-side recording techniques.

This microphone is in excellent condition and has barely been used! The body shows no signs of wear whatsoever. It has been tested in house and functions 100% as intended. This lot includes a hard shell Cascade case, the mic's individual wood storage box, a shock mount, pop filter, hardware, and manual.
