The Martin 00-18 is a trusted classic, loved for its balance, warmth, and timeless musical voice. Its comfortable Grand Concert body delivers a focused, articulate tone with clear trebles and warm, supportive bass, making it an inspiring choice for detailed fingerstyle work and expressive, dynamic strumming. Handcrafted with a solid spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides, the 00-18 produces a bright yet smooth top end, a punchy midrange, and the kind of dependable projection players have relied on for generations. From the first chord, it feels familiar, musical, and ready to become a lifelong companion.

Martin’s refreshed Standard Series for 2025 brings thoughtful updates that enhance tone, comfort, and visual appeal. Sitka spruce GE top bracing delivers a vintage-inspired response with improved sustain and openness, while a reimagined neck profile, thinner fingerboard, and refined bridge and heel contribute to a more effortless playing experience. Ebony appointments, a satin-finished neck, aging toner on the top, and open-gear nickel tuners complete the classic look. Each 00-18 includes a hardshell case and is ready to serve as a reliable, expressive instrument for years to come, available at Haggerty’s Music.
