I am offering here an ESP E-II Eclipse ET BLKS from 2019, a handcrafted premium singlecut electric guitar model from the E-II series of the renowned Japanese high-end guitar manufacturer ESP, featuring a contoured mahogany body (with total weight of 3.69kg!), arched maple top, set-thru mahogany neck with slim Thin “U” neck profile and 42mm bone nut, bound ebony fingerboard with elaborate Custom Flag mother-of-pearl inlays and 22 XJ frets, powerful HH pickup configuration consisting of a Seymour Duncan Sentient humbucker (neck) and a Seymour Duncan Pegasus humbucker (bridge), high-quality Gotoh locking tuners and Evertune F bridge in an impressive black satin finish with black hardware and white body binding in excellent condition including black ESP luxury hardshell case and professional setup with 10-gauge Ernie Ball strings.

The ESP E-II Eclipse Evertune is the perfect tool for the modern metal guitarist looking for a top-tier instrument to execute the most virtuosic playing techniques in a high-gain context. As one would expect from ESP, this singlecut beast, hand-forged in Japan, combines all the high-end specs a hard rock/metal guitarist could dream of: an extremely lightweight solid mahogany body with a curved maple top delivers a powerful, well-defined tone with extra bite in the attack, while the one-piece mahogany neck in set-neck construction offers ideal tone transmission with long sustain and an ultra-fat sound.

Plugged in, the combination of a Seymour Duncan Sentient at the neck and a Seymour Duncan Pegasus at the bridge delivers an exceptionally versatile and modern sound. The Sentient impresses with clearly defined clean tones, warm dynamics, and outstanding transparency even with complex chords, while the Pegasus at the bridge excites with tight bass, aggressive midrange presence, and precise articulation, particularly with modern high-gain sounds. Despite its clear focus on modern rock and metal sounds, the guitar remains open, nuanced, and dynamic at all times.

A sound sample of the model can be found above at the end of the photo gallery.

A special highlight is the built-in Evertune F Bridge, which guarantees virtually perfect tuning stability. Even with aggressive playing, drop tunings, or extended recording sessions, the tuning remains extremely consistent, which is an enormous advantage both live and in the studio.

The set-thru mahogany neck with a slim thin "U" profile, together with the bound ebony fingerboard, 22 XJ frets, and the smooth neck-to-body transition, ensures an extremely fast, comfortable playing feel with excellent playability all the way up to the highest registers.

Visually, the Eclipse immediately exudes a dark, dangerous aura. The satin black finish harmonizes perfectly with the black hardware and the deep black ebony fingerboard, while multi-layered white binding combined with bright mother-of-pearl inlays complement the overall look with exciting contrasts, creating a timelessly elegant appearance.
