Collector owned 2014 Flying V. 95% of all mahogany V's are 1958 models. This is the very rare 1959 model !! Very lightweight guitar. EX condition. The 2014 Gibson Custom Shop 1959 Reissue Mahogany Flying V is a highly sought-after, limited-run guitar. Departing from the traditional Korina wood used in the '58 models, this iteration relies on a solid mahogany body and neck to deliver a warmer, resonant tone.

Wood & Finish: Solid mahogany body and neck with a rosewood fretboard. Common finishes for this limited run include Walnut, Pelham Blue, Classic White, Cherry Red, and TV Yellow, frequently treated with a Vintage Original Spec (VOS) finish.
