Collector owned 2014 Flying V. 95% of all mahogany V's are 1958 models. This is the very rare 1959 model !! Very lightweight guitar. Clean condition. Shows faint discoloration on the bridge that is common for these guitars with gold hardware. Buyer is responsible for asking for more pictures of any part of the guitar that are not in the listing. The 2014 Gibson Custom Shop 1959 Reissue Mahogany Flying V is a highly sought-after, limited-run guitar. Departing from the traditional Korina wood used in the '58 models, this iteration relies on a solid mahogany body and neck to deliver a warmer, resonant tone.
